This old buck let me know he was present at 7:15am when he stepped into an open grass field. As I pulled my gun up, shots around the area fired off and he ran back from where he came. 30 minutes later he crossed at a different location where it was thick brush and apple trees. I could see the top of his antlers and the outline of his body. I followed the neck line down and let the 450 to the rest. Shot was a little far back but he ran 250 yards into an open field.
