I had watched him all summer and fall. Hunted him during bow season hard and had plenty of encounters but he wouldn’t present a shot. After a very busy opening morning watching young bucks he came into a few aggressive buck grunts. Shot him at 185 yards then again at 100 yards. Both fatal shots but he refused to go down. 300 yards later he dropped. Very curious to see his age considering that he has no teeth left at all. Extremely bittersweet to be tagged out but very blessed this year on both my mature deer.
