It was the morning of my 71 birthday. 7:30 am on my private 20 acres. I saw him for a brief moment across the field about 200 yards. he disappeared into the thick pines. a few mins later I saw him come into a small opening about 145 yards and i laid the hammer on him. When I went up to go see him, he jumped up and ran another 50 yards and stood broadside and i fired another two and knocked him down for sure. to my surprise I waled up on a 15 Point buck. I couldn’t have asked for a better birthday present!!
