My gun jammed so I unloaded and reloaded. I figured I only needed one bullet so that’s all I put in. A buck came in following a doe and was stood behind a pine tree, grunting away. I could tell he was something big and I tried to be patient. He finally stepped out enough and I took the shot at about 50yds. My grandkids helped me track but we didn’t need to look long because he only made it about 30yds before dropping. I made that one bullet count!
