The was the first time hunting with my brother in over 10 years and we both were lucky enough to bag a buck. After hearing multiple shots go off in the direction he was sitting, I knew I had to get something so we could celebrate together that night. I missed on a big doe early in the morning and only saw a few button bucks and was about to call it then from the corner of my eye I notice a rack strolling in. I pulled up and shot him from about 60 yards away, he ran 10 more yards and crashed. After waiting an hour, I was excited to walk up and see it was nice 8 point but then he pops up, bleeding all over and starts to run away and I see him crash again. This guy would not go down. My brother runs back to grab his gun and give it to me and instead of waiting for him to bleed out, I ran after him and cut him off another 20 acres from where I shot him and finally put him down. Very memorable hunt with my brother that I will always remember.
