16 acres of hardwoods and swamp, had a smaller 8 point working a scrape out in front of me at 15 yards, I was at full draw on him pin settled when I heard a deep loud grunt behind me I let my bow down looked back behind me this brute was 30 yards coming in fast! The smaller 8 point took off and the big boy was probably 12 yards at this point to the right of my tree he was heading to the scrape to work it, drew my bow back settled the pin made a soft grunt he stopped broadside! Took the shot little high and forward hit him in the shoulder blade, arrow got about 8 inches of penetration, he bucked hard took of back behind me back in the thicket heard a loud crash about 60 yards out! I knew he was down for the count! Biggest buck to date with a bow! God is great god is good let us thank him for this buck! Hope everyone has a great season!!
