Came out with a Doe and a nubby buck. Took quite a while for him to turn for a shot. My shot was low so I would give it 2 hours before checking sign. Oddest thing happened I’ve never heard or seen before. After the first 20 minutes of patiently sitting I heard crows screaming and cackling about 100 yds from me. I’ve never had crows on a deer that quick ever. I do know if you wait it out to long in the eastern U.P. Your deer will be quickly eaten by wolves, coyotes, big cats or birds ie eagles, crows, ravens etc…
Good luck to all, be safe.
