Wasn’t seeing much all week so I tried a different part of the forest and when I came across many large trees shredded fresh, I backed off the trail on a crosswind and sat under a tree. Right at 4 I look to the left and this guy is cruising towards me and only 40 feet away. A quick shot with the .270 dropped him in his tracks.
