I was seeing does being pushed from north to south pretty much every hour. Hunters to the north were pushing them south but there was a buck pushing the poor things back north.
Never saw that buck until 2:00 when he showed himself for a couple seconds as he came out of the brush. Had no shot, couldn’t tell how big he was anyways. So I grunted at him 4 times to see if he would come back out of the brush but he never did.
However at 2:20 this buck came in from the west and gave me a great shot.
It was time to end my season as the honey do list has been just a bit neglected the past month.
