Into the second weekend of early elk season. We sat over a wallow hoping for the bull to show. About 9:30am decided to head to corn field and do some cow calls. We sat up on ridge while other guide called from behind us. About 10 minutes later we saw the bull coming through corn and when he hit the grass field area, he was heading away from us. So I did a loud bugle and he turned and headed towards us. Ron had scope on him and let the shot fly about 100 yrds out. The bull went down and Ron harvested a huge 6×6 bull.
