Had been keeping an eye on this buck all summer and was the #1 buck I was going after this season. I got out of work on time on Friday and decided to slip into a stand that was in a big oak tree on the edge of a soybean field. Over the course of the night there were about 20 does, fawns, and young bucks that worked by and with about 10 minutes of shooting light left this buck stepped into view. He worked his way into 42 yards and offered a quartering away shot. The arrow hit perfectly and he went 120 yards before tipping over. Feeling super blessed to have shot my biggest archery buck to date!
