I spent opening day scouting new areas, figured it was a good day to walk since it was windy and noisy in the woods. I found this area and it was lined with rubs and scrapes. I got in early this morning and walked right the edge of the swamp. About an hour in this guy stuck his head out of the long grass to take a drink out of the river and I took the shot at 10 yards. Perfect heart shot. A true U.P. Swamp donkey.
