I actually got into and set up in a blind 1/2 mile away on the property. When I checked my phone and received a text from my best friend and hunting partner. The text said hay your jeep door is open. I was in such a hurry I left it open so I climbed down went back and shut it. As my mind was now telling me hay that’s a sign wind is perfect go set on the otherside of the section so I did. Snuck through corn and finally got to my stand about 4.45 pm which is way later than I want. Hit a grunt a few times looked behind me just to catch a 2 second glimpse of him thin he was in a row of corn I waited about a minute then did a snort Weeze. 10 seconds later he came out of the corn into a big opening in front of me and I was ready. I took the shot watched him Barrell into the corn and herd him crash. The best part is I told my friend I had shot a spike. Should have seen the look on his face when we walked up on him it was priceless.
