Had this buck on camera in 2017 and 2018 and then he disappeared. Never had an encounter with him until his last day. I heard him stand up behind me about 60 yards. He walked up a hill into a meadow that’s about 25 yards out. When I was able to stop him I took a nice broadside shot. It was tough to track the arrow in low light but he reacted and crashed through a thicket of picker bushes. He only made it to the other side about 40 yards away. Couldn’t believe what we were seeing when we recovered him.
