Ended up working late and really even debated going out, but I packed up my stuff and got out at 4:30 for a quick sit. I found myself just sitting in the fence row. At 4:45 I glanced over to the northwest. And wouldn’t you know it the buck we call Dagger is standing 500 yards away in the neighbors hay field with a basket 6 point. I thought to myself I had to try something. After watching him for what felt like forever I hit the bleat tube. He and the 6 point worked their way across the property line and within 200 yards. My personal best by far.
