This buck had been eluding us all week; we had seen him on the cameras but never in the day. Today my patience paid off and he came into view around 2:15 PM. I was nervous and shaking but was able to make a good shot at 100 yards with my .270
My first deer and glad I got to spend the time hunting with my dad!
