First hunt on this area of state land this year. I hunted the same land last season and did well. I knew where I wanted to go and I slipped in early in the morning. Heard a couple of deer walking in the dark. I never actually saw a deer till 8:30 when this 10-point showed up. Made a good shot and he went 70 yards; stood there; and dropped. First 10-point! Thank you, Lord!
