This deer we have nicknamed “Reindeer Rack” has been on our trail cameras since 2018. Always been smart by waiting for the last light to show up on the edge of open fields. I hadn’t been in the blind for more than 25 minutes when I seen this deer on the edge of the woods. It was still not light enough so I waited patiently until I could see clearly. Knowing it was one of the target bucks, I let my 450 bushmaster do the rest at 7:05 AM. My most unique buck to date. Tall 6 point at 116 yards, plot twist, this is a doe with horns. This is a 1 in 10,000 chance. Sorry kiddos, Rudolph has been taken down. Happy tears were shed this morning, experience of a lifetime. Will be getting it aged but is estimated to be at least 6 1/2 years old. Please see pictures below. To everyone else, have a safe and blessed 2022 hunting season.
