Tagged out on the 2nd day of rifle season with my oldest daughter. As soon as we got in the blind we were surrounded by deer all around us in the fields. Shot the 8pt at 7:20am at 115yds. She was able to watch him drop right where he was standing to which she said “that…was..COOL!! After a little convincing the daughter to sit and wait to go look at our buck more deer started coming back into the fields but they did not staybout long. Just as we are about to get out of the blind iblooked down the fence row to see 8 doe now feeding in the field and the 7pt standing just off the edge inside the woods. I was unable to get on him so I switched over to my left shoulder and was able to place a well placed double ling shot at 290yds.
