I was slip hunting the river flats following a set of fresh tracks in the snow. I cought movement 200+- yards in front of me seen a deer but lost it in the thick. So i held tight for 10 min, Then started creeping slowly in the direction i last saw the deer. I got to about 75 yards of him bedded, hemmed up with a doe. So i locked onto a small tree with my gun and put the crosshairs on him waiting for him to stand up. Within About 2 minutes up he stood and i took the shot. He ran about 150 yards .
