Got it done this morning. Nice 8pt! State Land. I watched him for 45 minutes before I was able to take the shot at 8:30am. He had a small 6pt trailing him. Made an ok shot, so I backed out for 2 hours then came back to where I saw him bedded down. He wasn’t dead, so I snucked up 20 yards and finished him. It’s been a great start to the year.
