I Was late getting out to the woods. As I get to the timber I’m creeping through the thick brush heading to the spot I wanted to be with taking occasional pauses as a deer would, while walking through the timber. I have little to no time till it’s legal shooting light. I get to the base of the tree, take my rattling antlers off my bag and start just slightly tickling them together and work into a bit more of an aggressive fight, I rattled for maybe 45 seconds, climb the tree and roughly two mins later I can see a dark figure walking towards me at about 70 yards. I get ready, range him when he was at 35 yards, he turns and disappears behind some leaves and trees, pops out at 24 yards right in the opening I needed. I drew, let the arrow fly. It ended up cutting his heart off, using the Beast broad head. He jumped once and stood there for maybe 3 seconds. All I could hear is something that resembles water running. It was blood just running like a water faucet. He took off crashing and ended up 40 yards away where I seen him stop thrashing.
