Had been bow hunting an area of public land all season. Scouted a few days before opener for rifle and set up a ground blind. Got to the blind the morning of opener and found a note in my blind saying this was someone’s spot and I should move. Decided to avoid any confrontation and hustled to move to a new area down the road before sunrise. Got set up and 30 minutes after sunrise he came out tending a doe. I watched him breed the doe then work their way across the field together, where he presented a shot. Thanks to the gentleman for the note that pushed me to hunt this spot!
