After having a rather crappy summer, my husband encouraged me to go out tonight. I had my reservations, but went out anyway. I made it out to my stand and was beginning to think that I wasn’t going to see anything. Right at sunset, he came in. I pulled back my bow three times on him before I decided to let my arrow fly. Double lung shot but not a complete pass though. Watched him run until I couldn’t see him anymore. Called my husband with the news. I was glad he brought reinforcements to help track and pull him out of the woods because he was heavy.
