Only saw this Buck once during bow season he came within 5 ft of me but I did not have a clean shot window so I had to watch him walk off down the trail, fast forward to opening day rifle season I was blessed with the opportunity of seeing him first thing in the morning after hearing the first couple of daylight shots from surrounding properties. The kicker ? Bringing him to Jerome Country Market and getting to meet the legendary Ted nugent, uncle Ted is such a down-to-earth man, outspoken and well educated in conservation and respect for the animal and which you harvest. I was even able to admit to him in high school I used to be a vegetarian and I used to not like him, I was able to personally apologize to him that I was heavily influenced by my peers and the media and upon doing independent research I concluded he was a really cool guy! My flintlock rifle hunting challenge is still on the table Uncle Ted, waiting for you to accept it 🙂
