Got out to the stand late on a small piece of private property, just about to the stand and had a deer blow at me, realizing it didn’t wind me but just heard me walking to my stand, I immediately made my way to my stand and got set up, as soon as I did I blew on the grunt a few times to mask my sound, and immediately spotted him coming my way from a field, he then disappeared from my sight. I found out about 5 minutes later that he worked his was down the field edge and into the woods to get down wind of me, watching the field for him to show back up I caught movement out of the corner of my eye and seen him coming down a trail in front of me and heading directly at me. I waited until he got behind a tree and drew, he stepped out at 25 yards and I let him have it. He ran 20’ and dropped. I was in my stand for a total of around 20-25 mins. Great morning!
