A frigid, windy morning that started slow bit ended quickly. I had a hot doe come flying through around 8am so I grabbed my single shot 450 and waited. Not a minute later this guy sprinted by but never gave me a shot and disappeared into the woods. 10 seconds later a nice 8 and 7 ran passed, all going after the same doe at Mach 3. I could see them chasing in the woods and prayed they would come back my way. Suddenly one of the smaller bucks appeared and he was right behind him trotting across the field. I was able to take a 125 yd shot in the 25+ mph winds and he dropped at the edge of the field. New personal best.
