While out last night just thinking of taking a doe, I was watching a few yearling feeding. Looking by another stand there where a bunch of deer and some of good size. Thinking I made a mistake my sitting where I did, here comes out a decent doe. With a lot of light still left and she just grazing, I let her be. And then I look up and here he came out of the woods. I just thought he was our large six point still around. He turned just right where I could get a count of 4 points on one side. Grabbed the rifle and shot, he went about 60yrd and took a dirt nap.
So This is my biggest buck to date. With a lot of seat time in this year and some human errors erase on in bow season, I couldn’t ask for a better ending.
21 1/4 spread.
