This buck came into view and I didn’t let him get away. After shooting him, he stumbled into a berm and knocked his left antler off. A few steps later he ran into a tree and knocked his right antler off. After 10 more yards, he was down. He looked like a healthy deer, but after harvesting him we found that it had been hit by a bow hunter earlier in the season. This led to some pretty severe weight loss. But, he’s still an amazing buck and I’m ecstatic to have gotten him. – Teri L
