Theo worked hard all year for this moment. He took a few shots and missed a couple of times but was able to get it done Thanksgiving morning. As a dad, I couldn’t be more grateful for how it all worked out so that he could experience the heartache before the reward. He shot this buck at first light on Thanksgiving morning. The deer didn’t go 40 yards and we were able to celebrate with family on Thanksgiving day. Thanksgiving will always be a little more special for him now as he will always remember his first deer was taken on a day where we celebrate what God provides for us.
