First time rifle hunting northern LP and shot my biggest buck to date while sitting with a buddy on public land in harrison. Caught a glimpse of him around 4 and then walked out about a hour later at 120 yards. Dropped him right in his tracks with a 308. Not 5 mins later a 6 point with a broken off side walked out and my buddy was able to put him down right next to mine. My favorite hunt to date and a awesome first rifle experience.
