Yesterday I seen a big buck run a doe out into the front yard of my house right at sunset and of course it happened to be on a day I wasn’t hunting. Ran out to the same woods today after work at 3pm with my saddle setup hoping he was still around. Before I even found a tree to climb I noticed movement to my right and seen antlers walking right to me. Waited for the right moment, put the crosshairs on him and squeezed the trigger. Still had my backpack on and everything and completely smoked him.Watched him mule kick and heard him crash 20 yards from the shot. I had him on camera in full velvet back in August, and one time in the middle of the night in mid October but never seen him in person til today. Quick 10 minute hunt for a memory that’ll last a lifetime!!
