Saw this buck and a larger buck and a smaller buck chasing does all morning. Watched them chase a doe into a small woodlot. Left at noon to warm up and drive around the section to confirm deer were still in small wood lot. Went back at 1 pm placed bedded for decoy and buck decoy to mimic a lock down scenario. About twenty minutes before dark this buck came down fence line from smaller woods a quarter mile away I proceeded to rattle and grunt the buck appeared to look at the decoys and entered larger woods heading in my direction. Approximately 15 minutes later the buck came out of the larger woods approximately 30 yards from me and directly in line with the decoys where I shot him.
