Did a drag in, freshened up my 2 active scraps. Before sitting. Clam and quite morning, not such morning at first day light. 8:20 I had herd of does moving in. They are in front of me, beside, in back of my blind. A couple big momma that at first glance I thought in the distance they were a big buck. Then..I see him following that drag..he is sniffing the air, he visits the scrap, then looks around to see which on of those does smells amazing ” buck boom” in the air. I have my gun out in wrong window. Tell myself dont mess this up, does every where..need to move slowly. Gun out right window..tell myself …if he goes between to birch tree that is the time to shot. He is walking..brush to thick cant see him. Then he is walking , sniffing, and then he arrives to 2 between to trees…he stops..I pull trigger, …he just drops!!! No tracking!! Then my husbands txt..”that you”..yes..”did you get one”..”yes” .”do I need to come over and help find”..” no”!! “Dropped him” “nice” Amazing animals!! Blessed more meat for our table 🙂 #trustthetradition #jayssportinggoods #husbandsightsinmygun
