I picked a spot on the ground that I haven’t hunted near all season. Hedgerow between an old gravel pit and a tall weedy field. He came out about 4:45, about 10 minutes after i watched a doe eating across the field. He came out 30 yrds away right downwind. At first all I could see was the backside of him through some brush so I through the binoculars up. When he finally picked his head up i knew he was a special one. He was still unshootable at this point and was taking a few steps down the hedgerow away from me. I got up and worked my way about 10 yrds closer and found a shooting hole. 20 yrd shoot and he only ran another 20 before dropping in the field.
