Opening morning , sat in a stand my buddy hung for me , sicker than heck sneezing coughing feeling like I was not going to be able to sit the morning I took a halls out of my pocket not thinking I would see a thing. My buddy which was sitting no more than 50 yards away hit his doe can and I hear a noise directly in front of me and then I heard the grunt of a buck . Brush breaking and my heart starts pumping faster! Out this buck comes no more than 40 yards directly in front of me! I can’t shoot him I have to standup !!! So I stand up shoot and droped him wow!! I can’t believe it ! Then he starts getting back up and I put one more in him! I’m sitting there shaking so bad! My freind says on the phone what did u shoot I say a buck ! He says how big I said big ! I was told not to move so I wouldn’t mess up his hunt and I waited for over an hour just staring at his rack sticking out of the tall grass just waitin to get my hands on him !! Put it this way my buddy wasn’t very happy when he saw the size of him !
