I saw this deer 11/10/19 chasing a doe at 50 yards and couldn’t get a shot. I wasn’t able to get back out hunting for the rest of bow season as I had to travel to Iowa for my Grandmother’s funeral. I got home from Iowa on 11/14/19 at about 11pm. Before I left my Aunt told me to drive safe because grandma had a buck waiting for me when I got home. I shot him 11/15/19 with my T/C prohunter muzzleloader. He came out of the corn at 7:35 am and was on a string to my decoy! He was at 242 yards when he came out, and I shot him at 91 yards. The perfect heart shot put him down within 50 yards. It was an awesome hunt.
