Got in the stand at about 4:15 after getting home from work. After about 25 minutes, I did a grunt and rattle sequence. About 5 minutes later he came walking in looking for another deer. 18 yard shot went 60 yards and was down. Hady wife bring our son and basset out. I always try to include the family on tracking. And have been working with the basset on tracking. Once she got on the scent took about 3 and a half minutes for her to find him. She’s not ready for harder tracks but have to learn sometime.
