Number one buck since we first got pics of him in mid-August. He turned nocturnal late September. We didn’t hunt property much this year to limit pressure until the rut. Strategy paid off on November first when he came in to grunt calls. Unfortunately I missed him not once but twice hitting limbs both times. Didn’t get much sleep that night as I thought I blew my chance. The next evening he stepped out at 6:50pm. Gave me a perfect 35 yard shot. Only went 50 yards. Initially thought it was another buck. To my surprise it was him!
