11/02/25 with the lords blessing I ended my season harvesting 2 of the 3 shooter bucks I was chasing. At the end of last season I had no idea what was in store for me this season. Coming into this season i had lost my spot due to other hunter taking over as years before its back to the struggle bus of door knocking with low expectations after knocking on countless doors I struck gold I landed multiple spots in a country block landing over 250+ acres for only bow hunting I was estatic. The day before bow season I had received two phone calls no hunter wants to hear. I went from 250+ to 72 acres in a matter of hours with frustration of loosing them I realized to be grateful that I have more now than I have ever had all to myself to endure my die hard passion on with that all of my time, knowledge and all of my previous years of learning experiences along with a head start my dad gave me I never realized till now in the sport we call hunting I am forever grateful for the opportunity’s the lord has let me take advantage of experiencing trial and error time and time again then being able to succeed on one of his greatest creations and also within my own personal goals.
My biggest piece of advice to any other young hunters like myself is “You determine your own luck” it will happen if you try it may not be the first time around or the second or third but eventually it will rather it be years of searching for somewhere to hunt or years of in hopes of a big buck one day it will happen!
