I’ve been hunting as much as possible this season and have been seeing quite a few bucks during recent hunts. However, this evening I was only seeing does during the hunt. During the last 30 minutes of daylight, I was only hearing squirrels running around that kept making me think they were deer. I kept looking everytime I heard the leaves rustle but there were just squirrels. Then, with 15 minutes left of shooting light after a few grunt calls, this nice 8 point came through by himself and gave me a 30 yard broadside shot from my tree stand! Thankful to harvest another nice 8 point almost exactly 2 years later from my last one on 11/2/2023! Thankful for another opportunity to harvest a nice buck with my bow!
