I had multiple bucks that were in along with this buck throughout the evening. Originally had him in at 24 yards but I contemplated on passing as we practice QDM and his big body made me hesitant on rack size. A nice 2.5 year old 8pt came along side him and this gave me a great comparison of size in which I then knew he was a 3.5 or 4.5 year old. By the time I could get a clean shot he was at 52 yards….double lunged him and he piled up 40 yards away.
