Not the biggest buck out there, but my best and a public land buck at that. I had another hunter set up a pop-up about 120 yards from me, so I didn’t really expect to get any good opportunities. At about 4:30pm I looked to the east and he was just standing there at about 70 yards. I pulled up my rifle and counted the points through the scope and saw he was legal, so I took aim and pulled the trigger. *CLICK* Had a bad cartridge, so I racked in another round, took aim and fired as quickly as I could. Double lung hit, went about 50 yards and piled up.
