Had been watching this buck and one other buck coming out into a harvested bean field since early bow season. Had been hunting that field on any good wind but just couldn’t seal the deal. So I got into the blind on opening day well before daylight and had been seeing some smaller bucks, and does all day when at about 4:30 pm I seen a group of three does come out, watched them mill around for about ten minutes, I looked a little farther to the east to see this guy limping out coming to check them out. He presented me a good broadside shot at 225 yards and the rest was history.
