I as sitting there with the girlfriend about 7:20 in the evening when we saw a spike thrashing a tree to our left. Watched him for about 10 minutes, took my attention away from the spike and looked straight in front of me to see him staring at me from about 100 yards out quartering to me. Took the shot and he ran about 15 yards and fell. Double lung shot
