Years ago I first laid eyes on this buck standing in road and immediately knew that one day he would turn out to be a hammer. I took notes, I watched found out where he rutted 1/2 mile away, found his core area and put in 100’s hour of scouting to learn. Last year I saw him late season and let him go. This year he blew up and told myself if I got the chance I would take him. 2 days prior to this day last year he came back from his rutting area.

This morning on a whim I sat by his bedding area ans grunted fiercely, stirring up leaves trying to make him mad if he was there. To my amazement he came out absolutely furious. 60 yard shot and I dropped him. I prayed this morning thanking god for allowing me to do what I do best and keeping me healthy during another season. But I won today FRANK you and didn’t make it easy. I will forever remember this day for rest of my life. 21 1/4 wide 11 pnt. Biggest buck of my life
