My dad and I set up a ladder stand Saturday night in the rain. In the early morning hours under the cover of darkness we went out, sitting around 6:15am. At 7:17 am a lone doe came in. About 20 min later a bachelor group of 3 bucks emerged out of out of the blueberries. I focused my sights on the biggest deer, slowly exhaled and squeezed off my shot. It ran approximately 15 yards and fell.
