Had a close encounter with this buck the evening of the 14th but couldn’t get a shot. The evening hunt of the 16th I saw him with a group of does and tried rattling/grunting but he barely cared. Watched him tend a doe for about an hour before they disappeared. Twenty minutes before the end of shooting light I saw him running to me, nose low and on a mission. Shot him at about 100 yards.
