My son tate has hunted hard with me since he was 5, not missing many sits at all! Last year at the age of 9 was his first year with a tag, sat many bow sits with no luck, he harvested his first deer Nov 15th of 2024 with a nice 8pt. Well this year he said dad im not shooting another buck unless its bigger than the buck i got last year! He has passed more deer than I ever would have at his age and it paid off. He harvested a nice mature 8pt the second day of gun season this year at 108 yds..proud of this boy and his commitment to all day sits and his love for the outdoors! After harvest when he put his hands on his buck he says “dad…im the first human to ever touch this deer” He than says to me dad now its your turn to shoot a big one!
