Went out on opening morning hunting for horns. Saw this 7 point step out at about 275 yards away hot on a doe. Hit a couple contact grunts and he came straight to the blind. Sensing something was off, the buck made a b line away from the blind across the field. Standing broadside at 175 yards I fired my first shot. The buck ran 30 more yards when I fired my second shot and dropped him in his tracks. My biggest buck to date! Went out again the same night and in the same stand. I watched multiple does about 30 yards in front of my stand until sunset. At 5:06 a big doe stepped out, I was fixing to shoot her, until a big bodied deer with a rack followed her into the field. I fired 3 shots to take him down. I topped my personal best two times on the same opening day! The second buck was 11 points 133 inches! A deer of a lifetime!
